Who provides irisma

irisma is provided by an independent developer, the seller named on its App Store page. Contact: support@irisma.app.

These terms apply together with Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If they conflict, these terms apply to the irisma service and Apple's agreement to the app licence.

What irisma does

irisma turns a close-up photo of an eye into a free iris reading and, if you buy one, a 4K portrait of that iris. Readings and portraits are made with AI (Google's Gemini models) from your photo. A portrait is an AI-generated image based on your iris, not a photograph: fine detail is filled in.

irisma isn't a medical service. A reading describes how an iris looks in a photo. It isn't medical advice, an eye examination or iridology, and it can't tell you anything about your health.

Your photos

Free readings

You get up to 3 free readings every 24 hours; photos that need a retake don't count. We may change these limits, or refuse readings, to keep the service fair and prevent abuse.

Purchases

Fair use

Don't try to get around the free-reading limits or payments, overload or probe our servers, or use irisma to make images of people without their agreement.

The service

We work to keep irisma running and accurate, but it may sometimes be unavailable, and AI results vary from photo to photo. We may change or stop features; if we stop selling portraits, purchases you haven't used can still be used or refunded.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your rights as a consumer. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Disputes

If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim there. Please write to us first; we'll try to sort it out.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; significant changes will be announced in the app.
